hair loss at young age

hi there all. I am a 24 year old female who has recently noticed a drastic thinning and falling of my hair. It is also dry, brittle and lifeless. I am looking for healthy remedies that may help prevent hair loss as well as promote hair growth. anyone know of anything? any help would be appreciated as this is breaking my heart.
