Dr Kadwa: Possible urinary tract infection

Hello Dr Kadwa. I think I have a UTI. I've been feeling some discomfort, a little stinging nad itching sensation. Not at the point of having the urge to constantly urinate, but previously there was a spot of blood.

I had a lot of my usual symptoms these past days (post nasal drip, phlegm)so I took Pulsatilla 200C this morning, before I was aware that of the UTI.

Please advise so I can purchase the remedy as soon as possible.

Thank you

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I'd like to add that I've had several uti's in the past. One was initially treated with homeopathy but after many days of terrible pain and no results from the homeopathy meds I ended up taking antibiotics. I would like to avoid it this time.
It's getting worse because the urge to urinate is staring to appear with only very little urine.

Dr. Kadwa I didn't know what to do so I took Nux vomica 200c yesterday after reading up on it. I haven't become worse, but when I urinate it still stings and itches. No more signs of blood, but I've made sure to drink plenty of water and to take vit c and cranberry supplements.
I await your reply.

If the problem persists take Lycopodium 200 in the morning and evening for 2 days. If the problem stills persists you should take Sulphur 200 in the same way.

I took Nux Vomica 200 in the morning and the evening for 2 days. I was a lot better. No urge to urinate, no signs of blood. I felt normal all day except when I went to the toilet and had a slight stinging sensation.
Yesterday cold symptoms started to appear. I now have a sore throat and very runny nose, having to constantly blow it. Also the itching/stinging senstion has returned and not only when I urinate.
Should I take the Lycopodium or something else?

I look forward to your reply.

Please continue with Nux Vomica 200 for the third day.

Dr. Kadwa, I had a urine test done today and the results weren't good. Full infection with blood in urine (even though none present when I urinate). The dr said that antibiotics should definitely be taken so it won't progress.
I truly want to avoid them so I'm asking you if there is something else I can do. Should we change the remedy? I'll give it a few days and then have another urine test on Monday.
Please advise.

While you wait for 'perfect' medicine this infection grows fast-
and of course can progress up to kidneys which all of this
is just draining your life force and you end up with a much
harder case to heal.

I have had this go on with myself, taking prescribed remedies and they
only partially helped and meanwhile the other was escalating.

I would get the anti biotics, figure out how you are getting
the UTI, using lubes will make it easy to get uti's -- fyi.

After antibiotics, use the probiotics and drink enough water
everyday and you can take a cranberry capsule everyday to get
the organic cranberry without any sugar and that is a natural
preventative.

Rania1403,

Is there a relief when you splash cold water or otherwise?

Other than medication, whats giving you some relief from this stinging/ itching sensation?

How is your thirst?

What is your thermal preference now?

Srisri, nothing really relieves the stinging/itching sensation which occurs on and off when I urinate. It's not that bad, none of the symptoms are, but the urine test shows that I have a bad infection. Thirst I think is normal. I've been making sure to drink plenty of water so I don't really get the chance to become thirsty!
I generally feel fine apart from my cold like symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, flushed face).

Simone717 you definitely have a point, because I have already been through it once, waiting for the remedies to work while the pain was unbearable. I ended up taking the antibiotics, after my homeopath actually said there was nothing more he could do. It's just that I have a bad reaction to antibiotics and try to avoid them.

You havent answered 2 of my questions:

Is there a relief when you splash cold water or otherwise?

What is your thermal preference now?

Yes, I totally empathize with you having been thru this. I don't
know what antibiotics you are having bad reaction to- they
seem to want to give Cipro a lot and Cipro and family of
Cipro ( none of my family can take) some can't take penicillin,
so don't know if there ever was an antibiotic that you tolerated????

Figure out tho how you get them- I had friends with one every
3 months- having them due to lubes. the dr. never said
anything about what could be cause , so they just kept having
the infections for years!!

Hoping this is handled soon. Best, Simone 717

There is relief when I splash generally water as long as it's not too hot.
Thermal preference is cold
