Depression followed by Hypersomnia

I am 63 year old male. A retired Physics professor. Taking medicines for hypertension for the last 20 years. Three months back I lost my wife. After that I am experiencing depression followed by Hypersomnia. Hate closed space. Feeling relived in open space. Vegetarian. Teetotaler. Panic attack at least once in a week. Please help.
