Hi Sameer
How are you?
Its been 15 days since I gave Suphur 200c dose. There was a little cough on & off after three days of the medicine but nothing thereafter. Also seemed a little extra excitable (hitting - says that he is learning boxing as shown on tv) but is better now. No other changes noticed in second week.
Please suggest what to do next.
I am very Thankful for your continous attention & advise.
Regards.

Hi sadhna,
Please keep waiting as there are no strong indications to prescribe on right now and we should let Sulphur work.

Hi Sameer
Its been 4 weeks now since we gave the Sulphur 200c dose.
Meanwhile, last week, he had got an infection as in fever, cold & cough : possibly from me or his sister. He responded pretty ok to the infection. Initially, he was getting fever only in the afternoon for few days, but after four five days, he did get high fever for two days. He had wet cold & cough and had crocin, zyrtec for cold & an expectorant for cough. He doesnot have fever since a week but there is some cough on & off. He was sneezing with colorless thick phlegm during the first half of the day today. Rest all is same.
What medicine could we give now. Do you feel we should address his milk/egg white/barley/rye allergy at this stage?
Looking forward to your reply. Many Thanks.

Please tell whether you would call him an independent child or a dependent one.
Please explain if there are no clear answers.

Hi Sameer
I have just been thinking on whether I would call him an independent or dependent child. Its a little difficult question. But, let me explain, so you could get a fair idea.
Till about two years of age, he was very dependent & clinging to me all the time. He was very shy of any outsider & wanted to be carried most of the time especially when he was unwell, when outside home or in presence of any stranger. But he started showing signs of being independent at about age three. He would still want to be carried when unwell, on waking up etc, but when outside home, he would tend to go away in any direction on his own, not bothering if we are still with him or if anybody knows where he is going or not. Something catches his fancy & off he goes. He is still more or less like that. He has a mind of his own & he will do only what he wants to do. He nearly always feels he is right & follows his impulse. Although if I explain something to him in depth & also put a safety related factor to it for eg. tell him how badly one can get hurt etc, he might listen a bit but after some days its all forgotten again. If anyone hits him, he has to settle the score otherwise he will keep feeling hurt & wronged. He is very excitable & likes to wrestle with us or bang his trike everywhere. This is not the case with his bike, from which he knows he can loose his balance, fall & get hurt. Likes to make a lot of noise. I know I am going a bit off your query but just trying to get a picture across. He is very analytical & gets an indepth understanding of everything. Very intelligent but does not have the patience or attention span to write numbers/alphabets for long. If he writes it wrong, immediately he will give up on it. Extremely good & fast at things which need application of mind like mazes, puzzles and can be busy for a long time solving one puzzle after the other. If some time a child shuts his door on him maybe because he resorts to aggressive play, he feels very rejected & will just go and play some quite game on his own & will not play with him/her or try & approach that child again. He is very sensitive in his feelings and gets easily hurt emotionally even when scolded at home. However, at home he settles the score soon by hitting back. If we make some food that he likes or do something that makes him feel good, he showers us with kisses & makes sure that we know how much he loves us. He is very energetic, unless not feeling well. Craves a lot of attention.
Do please let me know if you have any other queries.
Looking forward to your reply.
Many many thanks for your constant guidance & advice.

Sameer, just wondering if we can address his food allergies right now or later. He sits in the furthest corner & feels very bad whenever we have to go for any birthday celebrations, because he can't have most of things there. He is very understanding but I can make out he is feeling very bad when children all around are having chocolates & other milk & egg products.
Please advice.
& Thanks once again.

Can you please answer these:
1./) How does he react to restriction of any kind , e.g. tight clothing or any other restriction in terms of rules or authority of another person ?
2./) Do his complaints tend to be left sided , in terms of eczema or other complaints ?
3./)Is he a very talkative child ? Does he jump from one topic to the next ?
4./)Is he also very possessive of his parents/relatives and demands that they pay attention only to him and no other friends ?

Hi Sameer
Thanks for the questions. They are very specific & easy to reply! The answers are are mentioned below :
1./) How does he react to restriction of any kind , e.g. tight clothing or any other restriction in terms of rules or authority of another person ?
He doesnot take well to authority. He wants things on his own terms. If he feels that some clothes are tight, he will not wear them under any circumstance. He doesnot like restrictions unless you give him a strong/preferred alternative of his choice.
2./) Do his complaints tend to be left sided , in terms of eczema or other complaints ?
He used to get more eczema on his left leg, but right ear joint tend to get cut (unlike left ear - but this could also be also because we used Hydrocortizone cream more when he got the cut initially). But overall I felt that his problems seemed to be more left sided, but still it is a little difficult to be certain.
3./)Is he a very talkative child ? Does he jump from one topic to the next ?
Yes, he is a talkative person & he gets very excited when telling something & he analyses well & talks all sense, taking the person listening a little by surprise because its all logical what he is speaking.
I haven'tin particular noticed him jumping topics fast.
4./)Is he also very possessive of his parents/relatives and demands that they pay attention only to him and no other friends ?
Yes, he wants a lot of attention.

Sameer, what is your opinion on Aethusa for him for his milk intolerence. Do you feel that the milk protein he is allergic to will be taken care of with it?
Please let me know even if you think it will not help or if you feel it is right & might help but we need to wait till other constitutional medicines do their work first. Do please let me know whatever you think on this. I will be very grateful. eagerly looking forward to your reply.

I do not think Aethusa is deep enough to correct what is going on here.

Dear Sameer
Its been 11 days since I gave Lachesis 30c. In between , he had a somewhat loose motion once. Have not seen any other major change. Would now request your advice on what is the next step.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks & Best regards always.
Dear Nidhi
Yes indeed, his eczema is much better. Its good that you have thought of homeopathy for curing your daughter's eczema. Don't use the topical steroids etc. They are very harmful. I understand its very difficult to convince hubbies on this especially since the progress is a little slower than allopathy. But I am a very strong believer of homeopathy. I feel a knowledged Homeopath makes all the difference. Sameer here has been utmost kind to advise me and remember my son's requirement continously. I will forever be grateful for his time, attention and guidance.
All the very best for your daughter. May God guide you towards what is good for her.

How about mentally ? Any change in things like these ?
'He doesnot take well to authority. He wants things on his own terms. '
'Possessive of attention'
'If anyone hits him, he has to settle the score'
'He nearly always feels he is right & follows his impulse.'

Hi Sameer
Thanks for the immediate reply.
'He doesnot take well to authority. He wants things on his own terms. '
Yes, its still the same.
'Possessive of attention'
I wasn't very sure of this even earlier. I know for sure he wants all the attention when her sister is given attention, but I can't say if he tries to grab attention when we pay special attention to a friend or someone outside immediate family. There is a some sibling rivalry for sure though.
'If anyone hits him, he has to settle the score'
Still the same but like earlier only in our presence. When we are not around and he feels that the other child might be more powerful and might hurt him, he doesnot hit back.
'He nearly always feels he is right & follows his impulse.'
Still true.
But, I should add this. I asked him why he doesnot listen & does his own thing. He told me that he can't have fun if he keeps listening to me all the time. Likewise I sat down and asked him why he is doing a particular thing, he has given me a valid reason everytime. I realised he was actually right each time and he is fully aware of his actions & behavior.
Do please let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards

Alright, I will get 200c. Also, he got a cold & runny nose last evening. He was continously sneezing with a little liquid discharge last night. Probably allergy due to something, just a reaction to his cold, the rainy weather outside or a reaction to the homeo. medicine. It hurt him in the throat & nose each time he sneezed. He did a little better with fan at a slower speed and lying down but still the sneezes or discomfort did not stop. Today he is a little better.
Will keep you posted on how things are.
Take care.

Hi Sameer
My son has not been keeping well last two days. Yesterday he was coughing a lot. By the night, coughing was quite a lot, at times non stop. He woke up up in the middle of the night & was coughing non stop while sleeping. I had to wake him up, gave him a sip of watre and comforted him and after about an hour he went off to sleep. But cough was still trouble him on & off. We are at Mumbai & its been raining continously since last few days. I felt it is aggravating his condition. Also he does seem to have a little runny and congested nose. It seemed today that he was on a borderline for an attack & was coughing, so I gave him warm steam inhalation but that did not help at all. By the forenoon, I could see his lungs overworking and at times I even heard wheezing sounds. We had to give him a puff on Salbutamol inhaler when things were becoming bed & he was all red in face, crying, swollen eyes & coughing, shortness of breath and chest tightness. He felt better after half an hour and is now coughing with chest tightness on & off but wants to play now.
Please advise what I may give him if he gets another attack after some time.
I have not yet got lachesis 200c. Should I expediate that & get it.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks.
