He slept well thru the night & the wheezing did not come back. However, he was being very emotional, feeling very hurt if he doesnot get his way & the crying & cough seemeing on the borderline to become an asthamatic attack. It was not raining today, so the humidity level was a little less & might have helped. The nose is still wet inside but not running. He was coughing only when crying, stressed. Did you mean hepar sulf calcareum? It will be coming in only by the night today.
Also, should I continue to try & get Lachesis 200c?
Thanks.

Please read the earlier posting. If possible, would also request you to let me know the other medicines we will be using as I am likely to travel to our native place again very soon & I am not sure which all medicines will be immediately available there.
Thankyou & take care.

Hi Sadhna,
I meant hepar sulph calcareum. If the cough/wheezing is improving, please wait for a few days. No need to give Hepar 30c yet.
Please keep Lachesis 200c,Hepar Sulph 200c, and Calcarea Carb 1M at hand.

In future, if you report any change in symptoms before giving a remedy, please check before giving the remedy.
It is ok for now, please wait for 1 week or so. It will be good to have the following remedies at hand:
Lach 200c
Hepar 200c
Calcarea Carb 1M
Medorrhinum 200c

Alright Sameer.
Meanwhile, my son is coughing at two three hours interval and that cough seems to hurt him. The cough comes mostly after I check him for anything/he doesnot get his way and he immediately starts crying which leads to a continous harsh cough.
I will post any other changes I see.
Take Care.

Hi Sameer
Its been a week since we gave Hepar Sulph 30c and nearly 4 weeks since we gave Lachesis 30c. On about the fourth day after Hepar Sulph, he did complain of stomach pain while & after doing potty but that could have been due to the chilly food he had for the first time, the night before. At present there is no cough or cold.
Please advise.
Thanks you

Good to know that the cough is gone, please wait for 1 more week, observe him carefully over the next week, and report back any odd physical or mental symptoms you notice.

Hi Sameer
During the initial part of the week, my son was very emotional, crying at every little thing as in not getting what he wants or being scolded for being destructive. He used to feel very upset & used to go to the other room & start crying. During late evenings, he complained of stomach hurting & went to do potty. He complained of stomach still hurting for a minute or two after doing potty(unlike usual was not hard) but was alright after that. It seemed to show as if there was discharge due to the medicine. When it was raining & cold winds were blowing, he does feel cold if not wearing clothes, which I guess is normal.
Of late I have not noticed much change in his usual behaviour.
Please advise.
Best regards.

HI Sameer
Its been 3 weeks since we gave Hep Sulphur 30c & more than a month and a half since we gave Lachesis 30c. Please advise on the way forward. As of now there are no such particular symptoms. Last week he had stomach ache & loose motions after his sister also had the same. So stomach infection must have passed on. Rest is all same.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks.

Hi Sameer
We were away to our relatives place for some weeks & are now back. I just got to see your reply. I am answering the questions below.
What is his position of body during sleep ?
He has mixed sleep patterns. For eg right now he is sleeping on his left hand side, but many a times he sleeps on his stomach or back as well.
When does he usually sleep at night ?
His sleep pattern is usually as follows :
3 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until woken up in the evening.
10:30 p.m. (can get late if distracted) to 5:30 a.m.(or 6 a.m. : definitely early riser).
What time of the day does he feel worse ?
No such specific time of the day. When he is irritated, feels he is not getting any freedom, wants to go out & is not allowed to, is hungry or lets say whenever he doesnot get his way.
Usually when he starts to feel hungry ie. before lunch time or in the evening when he has slept for a long time & he is hungry, he feels worse. In terms of his asthma, when he was younger, I used to find him more irritated in the evening & early part of the night & he used to feel better after sleeping.
Is he still very sensitive to reprimand ?
He is still sensitive to reprimand. However, he reacts differently now. Earlier he used to just cry non stop till he started coughing & gasping for breath & used to turn red. Now he throws a tantrum & hits/punches back, or just shouts when he knows the other person(known person)is bigger & will hurt him back. Winning him & trying to explain him is still the only way you can make him understand & listen. Getting angry at him doesnot work. At times, on being checked or scolded he bursts into tears & tries to explain why did what he did & tries to justify his action.
What are his main fears these days ?
I don't find him fearing anything much. Maybe a little fear/complex of not writing as well as his elder sister.
I wonder if I have been able to answer your queries adequately. But please let me know if I can answer any other query.
Please advise on the way forward. Also, should I give him some medicine as a prevention for Swine Flu.
Thanks & Take care.

Dear Sadhna,
You can give him a single dose of Medorrhinum 200c, and report back in 3 weeks time.
Dissolve 2 drops of Med 200c in 120 ml spring water, and give him a sip from there.

Hi Sameer
I gave Medorrhinum 200c on 16th August. In the second week, he had also caught a cold & cough due to sleeping uncovered in cold weather. He was having severe asthma for two days & had to be nebulised with saline water & albuterol. I just somehow was able to avoid inhaled steroids. He was having so much congestion that the wheeze was also not audible through the strethoscope(as per the pediatrician). He was also given zyrtec for his allergy. First week he has a tough time doing potty. He was constipated & passing air. Of late, he has been a little constipated again & has even cried while doing potty. Whenever any smell irritates him(especially pest control or some strong agarbatti smells), he sneezes a little & gets puffy eyes.
Please advise on what I should be giving now.
Waiting to hear from you.
Many thanks!

Hi Sameer
Looking forward to hearing from you. Also, my son & daughter developed a little infection last night. While my daughter was vomiting her food out, my son looked a little irritated with frequent sneezes, puffy, red eyes. He also complained of lower legs hurting. He has complained about the lower legs hurting some days back as well. Right now, he has come up with fever. The fever came down with children's crocin.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards

Sorry I missed the post ..
Tell me when he gets this swelling of eye lids, is it more 'under' the eye or more 'above' the eye ?
So, when do his lower legs hurt?

Hi Sameer
The swelling is more under the eye. The eyes turn reddish & watery with the frequent sneezes and little colorless water from the nose. He continued to have 102 Degrees fever(before crocin) & a little runny nose. He complained of overall body pain as well. I had taken him to the doctor, who has recommended symptomatic treatment, ie. Crocin when fever is high, Zyrtec for the allergy & cold, Ascoril when the cough starts & Antibiotic if the fever does not go away by friday morning. He has also asked to inform him immediately if there is any breathlessness. I asked him why the legs are hurting, he said its only due to the fever. After giving crocin, he doesnot complain of body hurting.

I forgot to mention that I had given him Influenzum 200c three weeks back when swine flu was spreading widely in this area.
sadhna last decade
He has been passing lots of foul gas & been more of less constipated in the last three weeks, after Medorrhinum. At times when he does pass sufficient stool, it hurts him a lot to pass the stool & he is crying loudly sitting on the pot and wants to be washed immediately. He has been behaving a little calmer & is more receptive to hearing, especially when he realises that I did something nice for him.

Sorry for posting comments again & again but I felt you should know this. There is a lot of weather change here now a days. It gets warm & then cold with the continous rains. The wet cloudy weather seems to irritate him & he seems a little better if the window is closed in such a weather.

When was this given relative to the Medorrhinum dose ?

sameervermani last decade
I am not recollecting very well. It might have been that Medorrhinum was given two three days after 3 consecutive days of Influenzum 200c. Influenzum was prescribed for three consecutive mornings. With lots of cases getting diagnosed, Swine Flu was a scare here & everyone took whatever they felt might work.
Thank God, my son doesnot have fever today.
Please advise on what we may give him next.
