Goodmorning Sameer. I had given Phos 30 om 2nd July, wednesday.
Also just to note that my observation on his sharing was perhaps confined to sharing with his parents. When I see him mingling with others, I don't see the sharing. He likes to play with construction machines, so only he can play with the bulldozer. Also, like I mentioned earlier, he will not allow anybody to slide down unless they 'excuse me'. I think he likes control. He is very intelligent & fast to pick up whatever is spoken by anyone near him. But he is very destructive especially with his books. All the laminations are gone & hard covers twisted. This is the way it has always been. Just though will let you know.

Sameer, to be frank that is true to an extent. I am quite protective & from his point of view might also be hindering in his socialization. But this happens mostly whenever some one is having cold(which is quite often). His cold & cough has always resulted in wheezing & asthma & then all those medicines. It has earlier led to the stage of steroids as well. So I have to put my guards up. But I understand that he doesn't know that. He sees everyone else freaking out. He is able to socialise very well will grown ups. Maybe because there is no conflict of any toys or possessions there. I also see him hugging other children, so that scares them off. But there are times he would say hello & they will reply back & smile. Those are his precious moments & he will tell me that he said hello & the other child was also responding well for a long time later. Also, whenever my husband takes the children out alone & I ask him later how they enjoyed themselves, my hubby says that the children(especially my son) were playing with other children & having a good time & there were no fights. My husband does not hold my son back on anything - all treats & toys all the time, lots of play & no checking for most things, so he does remain quite happy with him. I am usually the one for health, proper nutrition....

If you are 100% sure that he is phos., then I will stop talking about all this ona continous basis. I have no wish to grumble about him even a lttle bit. He is a very good boy & very precious to me. My only concern is for his health.

I was just checking my records about his vaccination & rashes. He got DPT vaccination on his 2 month visit & on that visit, I had asked the doctor about his rashes on outer calves & face. So they were already there before his DPT vacciation. He had got only 2 doses of Hepatitis B vacciation before 2 months of age.

Also, his height is on 60th percentile for Indian Growth(40th on US Growth chart) chart. Weight is on 20th percentile.

Sameer, Hi. just wated to inform you that my so also had Umbilical Granuloma ie his umbilical cut had a raised bump and had not healed till some months' age. There was a raised red tissue, which the pediatrician felt was ok if not oozing. She felt it could also be part of his eczema that it didnot heal on time. It had to be dried with antibacterial nebaself ointment and the extra tissue reduced down with silver nitrate application two times.

These are very tough questions! Just when I think I know him & start drawing conclusions, I see behavior to the contrary, so I am left wondering again. Well, I will try. The answers are as follows:

1) Please elaborate on him being independent. Can he keep playing even in a big gathering independently if given e.g. a toy or a game that interests him ?

Of late to an extent yes. Earlier on, whenever I took him to a new place between new faces, he felt uncomfortable & will try & cling to me & I have to carry him. Since the last few months, I am the one trying to keep him with me because he doesnot listen to instructions and is so curious that I am scared he will spoil/break something/place that belongs to somebody else. Nowadays, he does't like to be checked or held back. If he finds something of his interest, he is all out after that. For example, when we visit the children's room at the library, he knows that there is a bulldozer & one or two other toys that he likes. He will immediately get them. If someone else wants to play with them, he will refuse to share, no matter what. Till he has his toys, he doesn't need me. He also goes away in all possible directions on his own & I am left going after him. So if you ask me as on date yes he is independent.

2)Does he like to insist on finishing what he has started doing?

If he is busy with something, he doesn't like being stopped. He likes to carry on with that activity, till he decides that he wants to shift his attention to something else. But if he finds that he is not being able to do something, he doesn't have the patience to keep trying to get it right. He will just crumple up everything & scatter it all about & move on. So I don't know the answer to your question. He likes to finish his task but if there are obstacles on the way, he is no more interested.

3) Have you noticed any major change in his behaviour with respect to family members and people outside ?
Please explain the query in more details.

Ever noticed that he is dominating to people weaker than him ?

Not usually. The children who are younger to him are all 'baby' & they have all his affection.

4) Does he have something of a strong gaze, where he can keep looking continuously at something for a long time if it interests him ? i.e. Is he difficult to distract from his desires.

I am not sure about the strong gaze but like I said, if he wants something, it should be given to him, otherwise he is sure to feel hurt, unless ofcoarse compensated with the things I am sure interest him a lot.

5) How sensitive is he to other's feelings ? Does he ever cry if you or someone in the family is sick/hurt ? Or is he anxious about family's health ?

I don't think he's too sensitive on our health or if we are sick or hurt. He doesn't cry on it. He might say later that you got hurt with such & such thing. So he remembers the event, maybe even mean that he's sorry for the person, but thats just about it. Maybe he is too distracted & young to be sensitive to our health.

6) Is he fearful of rough physical games like bikes, slides or swimming ?

No

7) On which body part does he sweat the most ?

I have noticed on the front part of his head & maybe forhead too after a lot of physical activy. I think a bit on his back too.

8) What are his food cravings?
He likes to eat salty, sweet, fried things. He doesn't like too spicy things. A little sour but not too sour.

I think he does feel more warm in general but in the slighest of cold air, I find him sneezing & coughing. So I don't know. Please explain if the latter is called being chilly person? Are we talking about his feeling cold/warm or how his body responds?

This 'becoming independent'.. has it occured after the Tuberculinum doses ?
Its possible. Not very sure. He was taking Tuberculinum since March till you asked me to stop it - so about 4 months.

Also, Sameer, I was just trying to see what comes up on the remedy software grid. The results are as mentioned below. However, itdoesnot mention food, dust mite, dust allergies and viral infections leading to increased mucoud production followed by wheezing with or without asthmatic attack. So those & the bahavioral aspects will need to be addressed as well. The grid is as follows :

The moment he felt insecure, he wanted to be held & carried & refused to come down. This does happen but only once a while when he is really scared that he might get harmed or when he is upset.
