Sameer, I remembered one more thing, so adding - hope its not distracting with me telling one-one thing each time!
Ok. Its only recently that he drinks full glass of water. Earlier he used to take only a sip or two each time, but used to ask for ater very frequently.
So far no reaction to the medicine given but guess will take time.
Regards.

Hi Sameer, Goodmorning.
An update on my son's health. I had given him phos 200c on wednesday afternnoon. Till now no behavioral/sleep/physical changes. Day before yesterday after playing with everyone at home for sometime, he got a harsh cough. I tried to calm him & got him to sleep. He was ok during the night. That is the way he usually responds when he engages in vigorous play & he usually is ok if calmed imediately & if he is able to sleep. Simce a few days he has again been waking up with ichy nose & lots of sneezing with clear or very slight white mucous(because the weather is a little cooler in the morning). This happens nore if any of the windows are open. Whe we close the windows, he is ok. & we can open the windows again after half an hour without him getting sneezy again. This is again the way it has been earlier. Not tried any new foods though.
Wanted to check with you what shuld be done now. I read that you had asked on a another post about the child likings for milk, eggs etc. I don't give him egges & nilk because he's allergic but he does does me that he wants to have them. Also, he has soya milk which he likes very much - its his idea of having milk or its substitute like other children.
Please let me know if you have any other queries.
Regards

So, does he always insist on finishing whatever he has started ? Is he difficult to distract from his desires?
Can we call him focussed and hard working (I know this is tough to answer at such a young age)?
Ever noticed any sour sweats or sour stools ?
Does he always wish to do things by himself showing a desire to be independent and self-sufficient ? e.g. if you want to feed him , he will refuse and insist on eating himself.

I will try & answer.
So, does he always insist on finishing whatever he has started ? Is he difficult to distract from his desires?
Yes
Can we call him focussed and hard working (I know this is tough to answer at such a young age)?
You could say so. For e. when building blocks, he will build blocks for quite some time but thats just about all. I usually see him destructive & impulsive with a short atention span. Then again all this is as on date.

His stools are usually smelly. I am not aware of sour/sweet smell but they smell bad & also he does pass gas once a while.

Today he was climbing a high slide ladder & his sister wanted to help him, he told her that he doesn't want any help & will do it on his own. Also, he obstructed everyone's way on the slide (like earlier times) & wanted them to say excuse me, so he will give way. I thinks he like complete control over others.

Sadhna,
This thread has so many pages, and the 'useful' information is scattered across multiple pages and replies, it takes longer to analyze it.
I will come back to you once I am done sifting out the useful information.

Dear Sadhna,
Wait for 1 week after the Phos 200 dose and then give him 3 doses of Sulphur 6c.
The dosage procedure is the same as before ( 1 sip from the bottle is 1 dose).
Report 3 days after the doses.

Hi Sameer, do you feel we should try ars alb before we try sulphur for him? I wanted to give that try. Please advice if I should go ahead?
sadhna last decade
The reason for my asking about alb. ars. was its impact on allergies, asthma, eczema, etc. I read sulphur is like the last remedy if nothing else works. Like I said two of the doctors had recommended only alb ars. What do you advise?

'The reason for my asking about alb. ars. was its impact on allergies, asthma, eczema, etc. I read sulphur is like the last remedy if nothing else works'
These are notions arising out of a limited knowledge.
To the contrary, Sulphur is a great remedy to open up chronic cases and it is the last remedy, when everything fails in 'acute' cases. Just FYI, Arsenic is not the 'only' remedy with eczema, allergies, and asthma.
You are free to try Arsenic if you do decide to go with the doctor's advice (ofcourse, if the doctor has met the child, he has a much better chance of hitting the right remedy) but since that is not my prescription, I would not be advising you on it.
To be frank, I think there has been a lack of belief from the beginning, and I do not think I can carry on advising you any longer. It is already quite difficult (and extremely time consuming owing to the rambling nature of this thread) curing a child over the internet , and when the parents do not 'believe' in the advice given, it does not make it any easier.
I have nothing personal against you. But I think it is in the best interests of your son, that you see a good homeopath in person and then trust him.
'Good luck' with your son. I will have nothing more to say on this case.

Sameer, I think you misunderstood me & I have not taken him to any doctors here. The advise was given earlier in the forum itself. However, you are the one who has taken the interest & yes the information is quite scattered across the thread & it must really consume a lot of your time. I am very grateful for your advice. I was only feeling that Sulphur sounds much more like me than him. I will go ahead with it for him, if you feel it is the right remedy.

Sameer, sulphur should be coming today tomorrow.
Meanwhile, I was reading the details of my son's health on this 2 month & 4 month health checkup visits as well his vaccinations.
At checkup : 2 months age :
Has dandruff, very little heat rash on body(because it was cold weather & I used to cover him in too much clothing), slightly dry skin/seborhea.
Vaccinations given at 2 months :
DTAP, OPV, HiB, Prevnar.
At checkup : 4 months of age :
Dry pink patches on both cheeks, slight seborhea on scalp, legs(outer calf) with patchy oozing(colourless white drops) skin, atopic dermatitis with patchy eczema(told to apply Hydrocortizone 1%), umbilical cord granuloma(applied silver nitrate to dry it up), fisures on top of ears & lower side as well.
vaccinations given at 4 months: DTaP, OPV, HiB, Prevnar.
What do you make of the above?
Do you feel that the vaccinations at 2 months checkup might actually have triggered his problems, especially when he already had a dry skin. Is there any need to antidote any vaccination here?
Looking forward to ing from you.

As I said, Silica might be indicated at some point, but it isn't coming through strongly right now.
sameervermani last decade
ok. So I take it that we don't need to antidote any of those vaccines as of now & whatever work needs to be done, as of now Sulphur should do it. Do I not need to think of vaccine effects any more?

Sameer, if I understood aphorism 279 correctly, as a rule, which is especially applicable to chronic, the smallest dose of the right remedy will never be weak enough that it cannot initiate a beginning to the cure (unless there is interference from other medicines, or, if a vital organ is damaged).
From that perspective, if Sul 6c has resulted in no reaction, why do you believe 30c will?

'This pure experience shows UNIVERSALLY, that if the disease does not manifestly depend on a considerable deterioration of an important viscus (even though it belong to the chronic and complicated diseases), and if during the treatment all other alien medicinal influences are kept away form the patients, the dose of the homopathically selected remedy can never be prepared so small that it shall not be stronger than the natural disease, and shall not be able to overpower, extinguish, and cure it, at least IN PART, as long as it is capable of causing some, though but a slight preponderance of its own symptoms over those of the disease resembling it (slight homopathic aggravation, §.157-§160) immediately after its ingestion'
The 'PART' of the disease extinguished can be very small with low potencies like 6C especially in patients with a below average sensitivity, and can become imperceptible to the patient. This is even more so for the child as he cannot come and tell you 'Oh.. I felt really happy on the day I took the 6c doses' :)
There are 3 conditions noted by Hahnemann where ultra small doses may not prove effective.
1. The Hyposensitive Patient
Refer to aphorism 281
2. The Original Primary Lesion i.e. when the miasm is showing it's most outward primary manifestation e.g. eruptions and figwarts.
refer to footnote of Aphorism 282
3. When old local symptoms remain.
Refer to Aphorism 270
