10 month old with urinary tract infection

Hi there! My sweet little man has been fussy, irritable, doing a lot of verbal complaining, wants to constantly nurse, and has foul, burnt smelling urine. He has a low grade fever.

Also, he has been looking for walls to bang his head into and will start crying, and has been biting the past two days.

He has had a runny nose for two days.

What homeopathic can I give him for a UTI. There is a history of them in the family as well. Thank you!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

It wil be necessary that you do a Urine test if you suspect that he is having a UTI which is very unlikely at his age. If any bacteria is identified it is best to use the drug that will be recommended on the ABST (anti bacteria sensitivity test).

It is more likely that he has caught a virus and this should pass off in a day or so.

Aconite 6 or 30 is a gift of man kind to help infants with fever and possible urinary infection. You can repeat the wetdose (see Joe's other post for wetdose definition) every 3 or 4 hours, till the fever is gone.

After you find there is no any more fever, Kali Mur 6x is another gift to infants to clear any remaining symptoms. This can be given twice a day for 2 or 3 days.

For clearning the heriditary tendency, give Thuja 30, once a week (one dose, only once a week), for one month and this should take care.
